Fence panel manufacturers FOR OVER 70 YEARS
At our sawmill here in Dorset, we manufacture and supply high quality fence panels and fencing. These are made to our own high-quality and exacting standards to ensure your fence stands the test of time. We offer a bespoke service therefore we can design, manufacture and supply fence panels to suit your budget and preferences.
All our products are constructed from locally-sourced English Douglas Fir and Larch. This timber is supplied to us in ‘the round’ ie, a tree. We take the round timber and mill everything from scratch. What this allows us to do, unlike nearly any other fencing panel supplier, is quality check the timber before it’s gone into production. Milling our own timber enables us to cut around or discard any defects with minimal waste.
Our timber itself is also superior to other products which might use a European Spruce or Pine. We use Douglas Fir and Larch, some of the strongest, most durable softwoods. In fact, they more commonly used for construction timber rather than being used for fence panels. As a family business which believes strongly in using the best quality materials, we are sure you’ll be happy with our products.
Our fencing and fence panels are made to various heights and up to 1.83 metre in width.
We also manufacture and cut-to-size timber posts for fence panels and wooden gates.
Closeboard oR Feather edge Panel
These fence panels are constructed with a vertical feather edge board with 4 substantial horizontal rails which run full width, for maximum strength in a concrete post. These panels, installed with a concrete post, are just about the strongest and hardest-wearing fencing panel you can erect. In recent years has become more and more popular for that reason: they’re practically windproof.
